Profile

Edith Cowan College (ECC) is the on-campus pathway provider to Edith Cowan University (ECU) delivering high quality programs in an environment which encourages students to achieve excellence in their studies.

ECC is located on both the Mt Lawley and Joondalup campuses of ECU and offers Diploma pathway programs on the ECU Joondalup campus in Business, Hotel Management, Communications and Creative Industries, Science (Computing/IT), Science (Engineering Studies) and Science (Health Studies).

Following successful completion of the diploma program students are eligible for entry into the second year of the respective bachelor degree at ECU. A trimester system allows students to fast-track their studies and complete most courses in eight months. ECC’s flexible entry requirements make it an accessible option for students.  ECC’s supportive learning environment ensures students are well prepared to enter university with confidence.

ECC also offers the Post-Graduate Qualifying Program (PQP) on the ECU Joondalup campus which is a non-award program designed to lead students into ECU’s master’s degrees in the School of Business and Law with one unit of advanced standing. The program is designed for students who already have tertiary qualifications but have not qualified for direct entry into the university masters degrees.

ECC English language programs offered on the ECU Mount Lawley campus are also available for people from non-English speaking backgrounds and direct entry pathways for international students wishing to undertake university study at ECU.

ECC is renowned for its excellent teaching staff, high-quality programs and outstanding facilities. Students have access to a wide variety of student services, support and activities, with the added advantage of interaction with Australian and international students studying degree courses.
